There was unveiling of the restored statue of the church patron St. Anthony of Padua in Bilje, Slovenia. The celebration took place on the patron’s Feast.
Grega Vezjak was approached by the parish priest to select a place in the church and design a plinth for the restored statue of the St. Anthony of Padua. After careful considerations statue was placed to the side of the church, between the nave and the side chapel on the specially designed corbel made from the polished black Podpec stone. Statue is dynamically turned towards the nave and the people.
